The Type 99 is nothing more then a T72 that has been up-armored. Its major flaw is the auto loading system which stores the ammo in the hull. This is a major issues beacues when the ammo is hit it blows the thank into 2 pieces killing all the crew and until its corrected china MBT fleet is nothing more the target practice for western tanks.
