Chinese authorities dispatched three American made S-70C Black Hawk helicopters to help in the relief work in to Caopo Township of Wenchuan County.

These S-70C Black Hawk helicopters belong to the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Chengdu Military Area Command.


S-70C Black Hawk helicopters arrived with in the area with 7.5 tonnes of materials and emergency relief workers and conducted 12 flights to help the people suffering from downpours and mud-rock flows.
