Two images of the Algerian Navy C28A Frigate launched by the China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) on August 16 2014.  Under a deal signed by two countries, China will construction three C82A light frigates for Algerian Navy

Algerian C28A Frigate will be outfitted with Thales Smart-S Mk2 3D radar for air and surface surveillance and Kelvin Hughes radar for the navigation.

 C82A light frigates will be armed with 76mm main gun for surface attack role, eight C802A anti-ship missiles for maritime strike role and FM90N launcher (with 8x surface to air missiles)- 2x Type 730 close-in weapon system (CIWS) for self defense purposes.
