4th Type 052C LUYANG-II Class Destroyer (173) Joins PLA Navy

The new Type 052C class destroyer, pennant number173 went into service with the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLA Navy).

 It's the 4th destroyer of theType 052C Luyang II class destroyer which are equipped with four-array multifunction phased array radar (PAR), 48 indigenous HHQ-9 surface to air missiles, 280 km range YJ-62 (C-602) anti-ship missiles and two seven barrel Type 730 close-in weapon systems (CIWS).
