Type 054A Jiangkai-II class frigate of the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLA Navy) test fires HQ-16 surface to air missile during an exercise. The purpose of the exercise was to use the weapon systems onboard Chinese warships to intercept anti-ship missiles from multiple direction.
