Rumored J-16 long range strike version based on the Chinese J-11 fighter jet to complement the Su-30MKK long-range strike fighter jet in service with the People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF).
Externally J-16 seems to be identical to the J-11BS, a tandem twin seat version of the J-11B.
The J-11BS was designed as two-seat operational conversion fighter trainer aircraft for the J-11B pilots.

i though it semi-stealth fighter, disappointing it was none than another Russian-Sukhoi knock-off variant nothing new , even China claim it was all self-made.This is China innovation? What the hell? As a Chinese living abroad I feel shame, glad I not live in Russian. I proud with glorious Chinese at ancient time: an inventor, great thinker, an heroes.Today China break my heart.

Don't be so critical. You think (re)designing a Sukhoi is that simple? If so, then every country in the world would have done that.
By the way, Sukhoi based Su-27 was and is still the world's most advance plane in many perimeters.

If you agreed with me that self-preservation and security matters are the most important if not the paramount one, then you make such statements.

Anyway, when security matters (as is now) is China in back-burner, you would see that China is able to develop as you mention - inventor, innovator, great thinker etc - eg. with J-20; J-31 and lots of other goodies ready to be discovered!!!!
