Those Asian Nations that can afford the Stealth F 35 to counter the Chinese Stealth jets should buy them.
Singapore who already operates the F15 and whose Air Force is defensive , should buy the Stealthy F15 Silent Eagle as an interceptor to negate the Chinese Stealth jet superiority.
What nations? Japan? because that is the only nation in asia who can afford that expensive shit and i not very sure about that.
I guess thre nations that cannot import j31 will buy t50 from Russia.
Yes Japan can afford that "shit" as can S. Korea and to a lesser degree Austrailia and they need these aircraft or China will dominate the skies of asia. Agreed that the F35 is very expensive. Perhaps a mix of F35 and F15 Silent Eagle would allow for more aircraft to be purchased. Even the US Airforce should consider this mix. Japan and S. Korea already operate the F15 so the Silent Eagle would be a good fit.
Honestly, USA wants every other nation to think that we are lagging behind in military tech. In fact we have some ACE cards up our sleve for anything any nation can throw at us. We have anti missile lasers, so we can pretty much shoot down anything that flies. We have UFO tech that is a true last resort for world domination! ha ha!
Honestly, USA makes use of F-35 to consume allies' fund for developing fighter jet of next generation. As a result, it is probably no new European fighter in coming decades and USA can control her allies' airforce supplies in consideration of strategic need & $$.
Also, how come somebody is saying Singaporean should buy or invest F-35 to confront China? What is the conflict between Singapore and China? What is the real requirement? In my opinion, Singaporean shall develop her air force to confront her biggest potential enemy: Malaysia i/o China.
