Armed & Dangerous: Chinese Z-10 Attack Helicopter

First look at the armed Z-10 attack helicopter of the People's Liberation Army (PLA).

The Z-10 attack helicopter is armed with a chin mounted cannon  and it can carry  HJ-10 anti-tank guided missile (ATGM), rocket pods and TY-90 air-to-air missiles.

HJ-10 anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) is available with the various seekers options like Imaging IR (ImIR), semi-active laser homing and millimeter wave (MMW) radar.

 It is Chinese equivalent of the American AGM-114 Hellfire anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) used on the United States Army's AH-64 Apache attack helicopter.
