Chinese Aircraft Carrier Liaoning CV16 with J-15 Flying Shark & Z-8 AEW

Earlier this week, images Chinese Liaoning CV16 (Ex-Varyag) Aircraft Carrier were taken along with what appeard to be the mockups of the J-15 Flying Shark Naval fighter jet and Z-8 AEW helicopter.

The Shenyang J-15 Flying Shark is a Chinese development of their J-11B fighter jet for deployment on the Chinese Shi Lang (ex-Varyag) aircraft carrier.

The Z-8 Super Frelon Airborne Early Warning (AEW) helicopter is outfitted with a retractable, rotating AESA radar to provide 360° coverage to the PLA naval surface fleet and J-15 fighter jets.
