JH-7 Flying Leopard Fighter-Attack Aircraft flew for the first time in December 1988 and the aircraft entered into production for the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) and People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) in 1992.


JH-7 can carry upto 9,000kg of payload on its 9 hard points.

Formation of 10 JH-7 Flying Leopard Fighter-Attack Aircraft with each aircraft carrying 250 km + YJ-803 anti-ship missile.


Upgraded JH-7 with capability to carry most of the locally developed precision guided weapons was delivered to PLAAF in 2004.
