People's Liberation Army Air Force's J-10B fighter jet is an improved variant of the Chinese J-10A fighter jet


 J-10B prototype flew for the first time in December 2008.

J-10B fighter jet uses a new chin-mounted diverterless supersonic inlet (DSI) air intake.
J-10B is also fitted with an Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA )radar.
J-10B has also been equipped with the electronic-optic targeting system (EOTS). Electro-Optic Targeting System has been placed infront of cockpit canopy to the right.
New diverterless supersonic inlet (DSI) allows in reduction of the front-sector radar cross-section reduction.
