Spotted, Lonely Boy Not So Alone Anymore: Chinese KJ-500 Airborne Early Warning and Control System (AEW&C) aircraft. Recent Satellite image show two KJ-500 AEW&C aircraft along with Y-9 aircraft. Fitted with fixed three sided fixed active electronically scanned array (AESA) Radars, KJ-500 AEW&C aircraft is capable of providing continuous 360º radar coverage.
