Japan Self-Defense Forces Monitoring Chinese Warships sailing from Pacific Ocean to East China Sea at around 7 a.m. about 49 kilometers south-southeast of Yonaguni Island in Okinawa Prefecture, which is 110 km east of Taiwan.

The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) used its P3C Long Range Maritime Patrol Aircraft and second escort group to track the Chinese warships.
