Soon China will form an Aircraft Carrier task force complete with this new advanced carrier jet fighter. This will pose a serious threat to every other navy in asia.
ReplyDeleteThe United States should take pro active mitigation action by encouraging Korea, Japan and Austrailia to buy the short take off vertical landing version of the F 35 which could operate from these nations helicopter carrier assault ships. In addition , eight surplus British Harriers now held by the US Navy. Should be gifted to the Thailand Navy for use on their light aircraft carrier.
Agree that these asian navies would be helpless against a Chinese Carrier if they met outside the range of on shore airbase fighter support. These navies need the F35B or Harriers.
ReplyDeleteWhy is everyone panicking with a stronger China while no one is responding to a stronger India? You people are getting so hard up over China's new military technologies but are turning a blind eye to India launching the Vikramaditya and purchase of Rafael fighters! Socialist in China isn't that bad and neither is too much democracy in India doing real good! Or are you guys descendants of caucasians who once tried to colonize China?
